Questions, answered
Do you ever get permission to send email?
Never. TrackSES connects read-only via SNS and a least-privilege IAM role scoped to ses:Describe* and ses:Get*. We do not request ses:Send* and physically cannot send on your behalf.
How long does setup take?
About five minutes. In Automatic mode, paste a scoped AWS access key and TrackSES wires up SNS subscriptions and the configuration set for you. Prefer not to share keys? Use the CloudFormation template , TrackSES generates a one-click stack that creates the IAM role and SNS topic, requiring no credentials at all.
What counts as an event?
Every SES notification: delivered, bounced, complaint, opened, and clicked. You only pay for the volume tier, not per event type.
Can I change plans later?
Yes , upgrade or downgrade anytime from your billing page. Annual plans are billed yearly at 20% off the monthly rate. Upgrading mid-cycle is prorated.
What is the free trial?
All plans start with a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to sign up. At the end of the trial you can subscribe or your account will be paused , your data is never deleted.
